At the Cooper's Hawk nest, Mom is on her egg(s) while Dad does the hunting for both of them. Cooper's Hawks have adapted well to suburban areas. This is the hawk that raids our bird feeders, preying on smaller birds. They are accomplished hunters with over-sized talons and powerful, acrobatic flight.

Meanwhile, at RS Hawk nest #2, it is confirmed: there are two chicks in this nest and they appear to be about the same age as the chicks in nest #1.
